Full-service sports video production in NYC, the country and the world.

WHY SPORTS
Sports Is Where We Do Our Best Work
Sports is where the stakes are highest, the schedules are tightest, and the stories matter most. Over the past few years, ASL Productions has embedded with some of the biggest names in sports media. Building content machines that ship thousands of assets in days, not weeks.
Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to, who we’ve been lucky enough to work alongside, and why we think sports is the most exciting space in NYC video production right now.
CANNES LIONS · 2023 – 2026
Cannes Lions Sport Beach: Four Years Of Live Sports Content Production
Serena Williams. Billie Jean King. Mo Farah. Noah Lyles. Carmelo Anthony. Shaun White. Some of the biggest names in sport walking up to our cameras, sitting down, and telling stories about fandom, equity, and why sport drives culture. We cut daily sizzle reels, feed real-time social video assets, capture main stage panels, and hand off polished video production packages — all from the beach in the South of France.
2026 will be our fourth year. Check out our 2024 Sport Beach recap and Fanatics Fest coverage for more of how we handle large-scale event content. We can’t wait to see what is coming.
Nine social-first videos in a single day, starring comedian Nicky Cass and a giant foam glove mascot. Custom set pieces (including a gift box built specifically for the mascot), DMX-controlled lighting, art direction, and parallel wide-and-vertical capture so the agency walked out with ready-to-ship assets for every platform.
Sports podcasts are having a moment. Scratch that…sports podcasts ARE the moment. Athletes aren’t waiting for legacy media to tell their stories anymore. They’re sitting down in our NYC podcast studio with Kylie Kelce for Not Gonna Lie, recording for iHeart’s sports slate, cutting with Wave Sports + Entertainment, Whistle Sports, Barstool, and Bleacher Report.
What we love about this moment is the access. When an athlete, a creator, or a former pro walks into our video podcast studio in NYC, they’re not handing off their narrative and hoping it comes back okay. They’re driving the conversation, setting the tone, and owning the edit. That’s why podcast content strategy matters more than ever.
THE SHIFT
Athlete-Led Content: Every Athlete Is Now A Media Company
Ten years ago, an athlete did an interview. Today, an athlete IS a media company. Tom Brady launched a production company. Travis and Jason Kelce built the biggest sports podcast on the planet out of a garage. Serena Williams is a venture capitalist. Carmelo Anthony is an investor, a documentary producer, and a media brand in his own right.
The athletes who come through our studios and our branded content shoots aren’t doing press. They’re feeding their own ecosystems. Every interview becomes a clip. Every clip becomes a podcast pull. Every pull becomes a sponsorship conversation. Every sponsorship conversation becomes another episode.
That shift is everything for us. It means the work we do ripples outward. We love being part of that chain. We love that when our New York video producers do their job well, we’re not just handing a client a file.
We’re handing an athlete another tool to control their own narrative. It’s why Midtown Manhattan remains the center of this shift.
IndyCar, McLaren & Team Enterprises: Race-Weekend Content At Pit-Stop Speed
IndyCar and open-wheel racing are among the fastest-growing sports properties in America, and they move at the exact tempo our team was built for. Working alongside McLaren and Team Enterprises, ASL Productions has embedded with race teams to deliver content at scale across an entire season of race weekends.
Our flagship project with McLaren was Ultimate Ride — a six-episode series where McLaren and IndyCar teamed up to design a custom livery for a fan. We produced the full series from concept to delivery, capturing the behind-the-scenes process, the fan journey, and the final reveal on race day. It’s the kind of branded content storytelling that turns a partnership into a narrative people actually want to follow.
Beyond the series, we were on the ground at race weekends creating social-first content and punchy edits — the kind of fast-turnaround, high-energy event video production that feeds every platform before the checkered flag drops. We also produced artist features, capturing the intersection of motorsport and culture that makes IndyCar’s brand activations stand apart.
We show up with tight crews, pre-briefed producers, and a post workflow that can turn a 90-second interview into ten platform-native deliverables before the team buses leave the circuit. It’s the same muscle we’ve built over four years at Cannes Sport Beach. Same-day turnarounds, no drama, every asset ready for publish when the client says go.
This isn’t a side project for us. This is where NYC sports video production is heading. Fast-format, high-access, nationwide storytelling built around the calendar of elite sport. We’re just lucky enough to be doing it at 200 mph.
PROFESSIONAL FIGHTERS LEAGUE
Every Fighter Has A Story
The Professional Fighters League doesn’t just put fighters in the cage. They build narratives around them. And that’s where ASL Productions came in. We produced promos, teasers, commercials, and short-form vignettes — each one built around the story of a single fighter. Who they are, where they came from, what’s at stake.
These weren’t hype reels. They were branded content pieces designed to make you care about a fighter before you ever see them throw a punch. We shot in our NYC studio, on location, and at fight venues — capturing interviews, training footage, and the kind of quiet, personal moments that social-first video is built for.
The format worked because it let the fighters drive their own narratives. A two-minute vignette can do what a 30-second promo can’t — it can make someone a fan. We produced multi-camera content packages across the PFL season, delivering assets for broadcast, digital, and social channels. Same turnaround speed, same production quality we bring to every project.
When sports content is this personal, it doesn’t feel like marketing. It feels like a story worth watching. That’s what we built with PFL.
FANATICS FEST · NYC 2025
Real-Time, Real Big: ASL’s Content Machine At Fanatics Fest
Fanatics Fest 2025 took over the Jacob Javits Center in New York City, bringing together tens of thousands of fans, brands, athletes, and media for one massive weekend. ASL Productions was embedded across the show floor, covering brand activations, athlete interviews, unscripted moments, and the Fanatics Fest Games.
Our team shot and delivered over 60 pieces of content for major brands in three days, with many going live the same day they were filmed. The mission: capture and deliver high-quality, on-brand content in real time — Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and broadcast assets.
Brands we covered included Starbucks, Raising Cane’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Fanatics, and ESPN’s “Fanatics Fest: All Access.” Talent on the floor included Tom Brady, Derek Jeter, David Beckham, Kevin Durant, Jayson Tatum, Sabrina Ionescu, and Travis Scott.
We deployed 12 camera operators, 4 production assistants, audio engineers, 3 DITs/media managers, and 6 editors across on-site and overnight shifts. Shooting in both vertical and widescreen formats with parallel cutting workflows, we kept content moving from camera to timeline to publish in hours, not days. Read the full Fanatics Fest breakdown. It’s the same event video production muscle that powers everything from Sport Beach to F1 race weekends.

HEARTLENT x ATHLETES FIRST
The Bud Light Athletes First Tailgate Tour
ASL Productions is on the road producing video content for our partners at Heartlent on behalf of Athletes First. Together, we’re bringing the Bud Light Athletes First Tailgate Tour to life — a nationwide, high-energy college football experience making 11 stops across the country.
The tour is a traveling event production built around the biggest college football matchups of the season. NFL and college football legends, premium hospitality, brand activations, and wall-to-wall content capture. Our crew is embedded at every stop, shooting social-first video content, athlete interviews, fan activations, and same-day highlight packages.
This is the kind of nationwide video production work that defines what ASL does best — fast turnaround, high-energy environments, and a crew that knows how to capture authentic moments in real time. From tailgate to final whistle, we’re delivering content that feeds social channels, sponsor decks, and brand recaps before the stadium lights go dark.

WHERE WE ARE
Four Blocks From Javits. Steps From Penn Station.
Our flagship ASL Studios on West 37th Street sits in the exact epicenter of New York sports media. Penn Station is a five-minute walk, meaning talent can fly or train into NYC from anywhere in the country and be in our NYC sports video production studio twenty minutes later. Read our full location guide. Madison Square Garden is half a mile south. Times Square is around the corner.
This matters. It means when talent or crew needs to jump from a studio shoot to a press junket to a live event, we’re not eating a half-day in traffic. It means when an out-of-town production company needs an NYC partner, they get one that’s plugged directly into the city’s sports media bloodstream. See why Midtown Manhattan is still the most practical place to shoot in NYC.

What Full-Service Video Production Actually Looks Like: Podcasts, Live Events, and Livestreams
A podcast that films six episodes in a day. A three-day event producing 60+ pieces of content with same-day delivery. A holiday livestream built from scratch on a custom set across three platforms. Three completely different productions, all run by the same team, out of the same studio. Here is how ASL Studios handled each […]
What to Look for When Renting a Video Production Studio in NYC
If you’re looking to rent a video production studio in New York City, you already know the options are overwhelming. There are hundreds of spaces in Manhattan alone, ranging from empty rooms with a power outlet to fully equipped broadcast facilities. The difference between a good shoot and a wasted day usually comes down to […]
Why Podcasters and Producers From All Over the World Film at ASL Studios in NYC
We built ASL Studios for creators who don’t want to think about production. Show up, sit down, make something great. That pitch works really well for New York based teams. But something interesting happened along the way. More and more of our clients started flying in. A Podcast Studio NYC can be proud of. From […]
