Case Study · Fanatics Fest 2026 · With Viral Vision
This July, Fanatics Fest took over the Javits Center for four days of sports, culture, and collecting. Tens of thousands of fans, hundreds of athletes and creators, and seemingly every card, slab, and jersey on the planet under one roof. Our partners at Viral Vision, a leading TikTok Shop agency, brought ASL in for their client TikTok Shop Collectibles with one clear mission: capture the energy of the show floor and turn it into a feed’s worth of vertical content…fast.

Fanatics Fest, Briefly
If you haven’t been, Fanatics Fest is the closest thing sports fandom has to Comic-Con: athletes and legends signing and trading, celebrity headline moments, live breaks, exclusive card drops, and a collectors’ ecosystem that has exploded alongside live shopping. It’s loud, it’s packed, and it moves fast — which is exactly the kind of environment we’ve spent 15+ years learning to shoot in. We were on the ground at Fanatics Fest last year too, so we knew the terrain before we walked in.
The Assignment: Feed the Feed
Collectibles is one of the fastest-growing categories in live social shopping, and TikTok Shop is pushing hard into the space. Viral Vision needed the @tiktokshopcollectibles page stocked with content that felt native to the platform — not event coverage cut down for vertical as an afterthought, but vertical-first from the moment we hit record. Framing, pacing, hooks, captions: everything was designed for the For You page.
Legends, On Camera
The booth became a magnet for baseball royalty. We captured Chase Utley and Andy Pettitte on camera, and a David Wright moment alongside Gary Vaynerchuk . One of the loudest voices in both collectibles and social commerce. When talent walks up, there’s no second take; both operators rolled, and the edit team had clips moving before the moment cooled off.
Walkthroughs, Recaps, and a Daily Drumbeat
Between talent moments, we kept the page alive with floor walkthroughs and daily recaps — the connective tissue that makes a feed feel like it was there all weekend, because it was.
Shoot, hand off, cut, post, repeat.
A two-day, sixteen-video output doesn’t happen by pointing cameras at things. Our two operators worked the booth and the floor on staggered coverage, our photographer banked stills throughout, and a three-person edit team ingested, sorted, and cut continuously — the same same-day-turn workflow we’ve refined at Sport Beach in Cannes for four straight years and across hundreds of event productions. The five post-event videos meant the page kept publishing long after the Javits emptied out.
Where Athletes Meet Marketing
ASL has lived at the intersection of athletes and brands for a long time — from Sport Beach’s main stage to league campaigns to podcast and livestream builds at ASL Studios in Midtown. Events, athletes, and collectibles are converging into one content economy, and the teams that win it are the ones who can capture and publish while the moment is still happening. That’s the job we love most.
Running a booth, activation, or live-selling stream at an upcoming show?
We can scale a crew up or down, shoot in any city, and have your content live before the doors close.
