ASL Productions recently created a marketing video profiling Citizen’s Bank and Cigna partnership to create a healthcare app called myCigna. ASL produces corporate video productions all the time but the opportunity with Citizen’s bank and Cigna was unique. We wanted to promote the partnership by using motion shots to mirror the active lifestyle of Citizen’s Bank’s Chief Human Resource Officer, Susan LaMonica.
MyCigna’s purpose is to make Citizen’s Bank healthcare options more accessible and easier to follow. By creating this partnership, Citizen’s Bank is promoting a healthier workplace and healthier employees.
The app provides information to thousands of common health concerns, as well as, a reward system for staying active. Citizen’s Bank employees can also lower their healthcare costs, with the myCigna app, by completing wellness activities and documenting them on the app.
The marketing video focuses on Susan LaMonica, and how her healthy lifestyle contributes to her physical and mental health. Susan is an active runner, running four times a week. She discusses how maintaining her physical health has directly related to her workplace success. With the help of the myCigna app, her employees can reap the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, not just physically and mentally, but monetarily as well.
ASL productions traveled to the Citizen’s Bank offices in Connecticut to produce the video production. We sat down with LaMonica and interviewed her for the app. She provided us with pictures of her family, medals she has won, and anecdotes describing how staying active has always been a part of her life.
To film smooth movement shots, we used a DJI Ronin, steady cam device. We also used a lot of slow motion to shoot action shots with precision and detail. Our shoot for Citizen’s Bank and Cigna Healthcare was a great example of how ASL Productions can handle any corporate production projects.
