Hi Everyone!

Summer has officially arrived and the ASL team has been at it non-stop. Our shoots took us to Vegas, Western Massachusetts, and all around the boroughs of NYC. This June definitely brought us some great projects to kick off the season.

As an upstart private jet brokerage firm, Freestream is looking to deliver state-of-the-art services to their diverse clientele. They called on us to produce a promotional video for their services that capitalized on their expertise, experience, and… oh yeah, their planes.

We rolled the entire day up at Westover Airport in Springfield, Massachusetts, shooting drone footage and capturing some luxurious interior shots of our actors living the high life in their own Freestream jet, a Gulfstream Aerospace.

Founded in London, Alpha Financial recently opened shop in the states last year, calling NYC home. With this jump, they want to build their stateside marketing, starting with video content.

From the scenic 18th Floor of a Midtown WeWork, our crew spent the day gathering testimonial interviews and B-roll from Alpha’s US team. The employees at Alpha were enthusiastic, motivated, and charismatic on film. With the skyline as the perfect NYC backdrop, we’re thrilled to watch this project take shape.

Every June 21st, NAMM (The National Association of Music Merchants) celebrates the summer solstice by organizing participants from over 700 cities to get outside and make music. That Friday, New York had hundreds of events around the city. From a meditative ‘Heart Chant’ at the WTC’s Oculus to an interactive Mp3 event in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park, to a Harmonica showcase in Central Park, ASL’s crews had an action-packed Friday capturing the sounds of the city.

The ever prolific content creators at Barstool Sports always keep us on our toes. This month was no different.

An upcoming food show took us to one of Brooklyn’s premier barbecue outposts, where we were treated to some otherworldly wings! The very soon to be released series will feature some of the most creative chefs in the city, as well as interviews with some very special guests.

Later in the month, our team headed out to Queens for the extravagant ‘Second Annual Barstool Awards’ streamed live from Dunkin’ Donuts. Before we give away too many spoilers, see the link above for the results of ‘Best Song’, ‘Best Foreign Film’, and many more hilarious awards.

ASL has had the pleasure of covering Culture, Diversity, and Inclusion Conferences for several years now. This year’s first event took place in Las Vegas with NABA, the National Association of Black Accountants. The four days of activities at the Cosmopolitan Hotel included diversity panels, a career fair, with the NABA Gala Dinner as the main event. Our crew helmed RSM’s video booth at the career fair, where 30 prospective employees interviewed before our cameras. We handed the interviewees a thumb drive with their video, while the winner was crowned with a check for $1000 later at the Gala. It took lots of swiftness to turn the videos around in under 24 hours, but we made it happen.
