Behind the Scenes of a High-Stakes, High-Speed Production: Stagwell’s Virtual Investor Day

At ASL Productions, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality video content—no matter the time crunch, the complexity, or the scale. One of our biggest challenges (and proudest moments) came during our recent partnership working alongside Stagwell agency Team Enterprise, producing Stagwell’s Virtual Investor Day event. What started as a bold creative brief turned into a whirlwind week of cross-country production, rapid editing, and high-level coordination.

3 Cities, 8 Shoots, 1 Week

We were tasked with producing a 2.5-hour long investor presentation—from scratch—in just seven days. That meant organizing and executing 8 shoots across 3 cities: New York City (at Stagwell’s HQ in One World Trade Center), Washington, D.C., and Miami.

Each location featured high-level executive interviews, requiring our crews to be ultra-professional and minimally invasive, especially when filming in CEO homes and offices. Every frame needed to reflect polish, trust, and executive-level professionalism—without disrupting the day-to-day operations of those being filmed.

Turnaround Time? One Week.

Our post-production team kicked into high gear the moment footage started rolling in. With three editors working around the clock and through the weekend, we kept pace with a non-stop flow of content, revisions, and updates. This wasn’t just a race against time—it was a marathon at sprint speed.

Despite the tight turnaround, we didn’t cut corners. We created custom graphics, financial charts, and dynamic animations to ensure the presentation stayed engaging and visually sharp—even when diving into the nitty-gritty of financial reporting.

Remote and Real-Time Flexibility

In addition to the on-site shoots, we also oversaw remote recordings, making sure every contributor—from across time zones and locations—was framed, lit, and mic’d to match the consistency of our in-person footage.

A Full Crew for a Flawless Experience

Each shoot was staffed with a full ASL crew to ensure a smooth, high-quality experience: a dedicated producer, two camera operators (who also handled lighting and visual setup), and a professional audio technician. This tight, efficient team allowed us to work quickly and unobtrusively—especially important when filming in executive offices and homes. To keep talent comfortable and delivery natural, we utilized a low-profile iPad teleprompter system, which offered easy maneuverability in tight spaces without compromising readability or performance.

Crunch Time Delivery

Professional video editing services

In true ASL fashion, we pulled off a miracle: the final presentation shoot took place on the same day the entire 2.5-hour video was due. That’s the level of commitment and flexibility our clients can count on.

Why This Matters

Investor Day presentations are high-stakes events. They require more than just cameras and lights—they demand precision, storytelling, confidentiality, and absolute reliability. At ASL Productions, we specialize in navigating these pressure-cooker environments while keeping everything running smoothly and professionally.

This project is just one example of how we’re able to scale nationally, blend creativity with corporate strategy, and deliver on tight timelines without sacrificing quality.
