Without question, what Princeton is most known for is its eponymous Ivy League university. ASL Productions is proud to have recently taken part in several shoots at Princeton University (among other locations). Every time we are on a college campus filming athletes it, takes us back to our industry roots. Our owner, Adam Lebenstein, started at College Sports Television, which later became the CBS Sports Network. If it weren’t for those experiences on college campuses, getting his hands dirty with a camera and seeing stories to completion in the edit room, he wouldn’t be where he is today.
Our client American Sports Network has afforded us the opportunity to once again tell athlete stories across the NY metro area. We’ve been to universities such as Fordham, Hofstra, and Columbia. But we’ve spent the most amount of time at Princeton University covering everything from fencing, basketball, lacrosse, track and field, even water polo!
Our most recent journey to the campus was to profile Nigerian American track and field sprinter, Carrington Akosa.
Akosa is a sophomore from Baltimore who came to Princeton and immediately energized the track and field program with his lighting fast speed and electric personality. Akosa has brought a lighthearted but disciplined approach to the Princeton track team. Check out our profile video on him, below.
