Slowly but surely, productions are starting to pick up again and we are hitting the ground running. While we are always careful to abide by PPE and social distance measures, a lot of our clients are starting to create new video assets and we are there for them every step of the way.
As we are starting to get back to the normal life cycle of shoots, let’s take a look at some of the highlights from last month.
Continuing our partnership with Attention Global and Abbott’s Freestyle Libre, we documented the diabetes journey of a professional golfer, Ken Duke. We shot the story with an Alexa Mini and a Cabrio Zoom lens while using the Vario EZ Rig to support our operator.
We also provided a remote video village. Using a Teradek, a Black Magic web presenter and a Mifi modem, the agency was able to view everything coming out of the camera, and our director communicated notes straight to the DP’s ear via a Google Hangout call.
Even on the golf course and on a boat we were able to provide wireless camera and internet signal for our viewing audience. As these type of requests become commonplace we are beefing up or transmission capabilities and should have lots more examples of clients being able to work from home while feeling like they were a part of the on-site set.
We recently filmed a video for a new partner, Cuvee Systems. Cuvee offers lighting solutions for commercial clients who need specialty lighting in their facilities. Our assignment was to create a sales training video that encompassed all the key information so their team could get to yes.
While our main shoot took place in San Jose, CA, we also had them ship us the product which we photographed in our studio in NY. Our shoot with Cuvee speaks to the diversity of services ASL offers. We can provide a video or photography crew anywhere in the country and keep our clients informed of the process every step of the way!
Sprinkled in amongst our video production projects have been ongoing post production work with our partners, RSM, NCS and Hand and Stone.
For NCS, we have been taking some of their Zoom conversations between their executives and polishing them up by creating creating slates and graphics for NCS to brand these conversations. The latest conversation focused on Brand and consumer loyalty trends during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Our post production work with RSM has us editing their video series, “Courageous Conversations.” These conversations are, as their name suggests, difficult and are focused on the racial divide we have seen in our country over the last few months. The conversations are had over Zoom and ASL uses RSM branding to edit and shape each video.
As we are entering advanced reopening phases in states across the country, our long time partner, Hand and Stone Spa Franchise, is starting to open back up. For years now, ASL has been Hand and Stone’s post production partner, editing and tagging their commercials for spas in local markets across the country. The last month has seen a lot of their franchises opening back up and with that, they are promoting their Covid procedures as well as new pricing.
Our next few weeks are filled up with projects for Cazadores Tequila, Intel, Reddy Care Physical and Occupational Therapy and Tec5USA.
We look forward to sharing more about those projects as they come to life but until then, feel free to reach out for any video needs and we would be happy to help!
