Time flies when you are producing amazing video content! in February, ASL worked with brands American Express, Degree, Lincoln Financial just to name a few. We have a lot to update you on so lets get to it.
February started off shopper savvy as we interviewed Fordham University’s, Fashion Law Institute director, Susan Scafidi. She filled us in on how to spot counterfeit hand bags and shoes. This project for Vocativ had a quick turn around time to be ready for New York Fashion Week, but we were cool under pressure. And when one of our clients walked in with a Chanel bag a few weeks later, we could tell it was the same thing.
Next we escaped the cold to Jacksonville, Florida to capture the story of Andrew Piezzo, and how his store used $10,000 from American Express contest winnings to redesign their store.
The redesign has allowed Andrew’s “Fresh Start Veggies” to carry more products and enhance their support of local farmers. See pictures above.
Also, we profiled, cyber illusionist Marco Tempest’s work with drones for Discovery World. Check out one of his latest illusions here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4xtsH6pzoM.
As Marco was doing his thing, we were solving Nielsen’s need for gorgeous background video content for the solutions pages of their website. Here’s some of the beauty of NYC we captured. Click the picture below.
As you may remember, we’ve been working with Lincoln Financial to create videos for their campaign linking love and financial planning. We were able to turn around this video which included casting, shooting and editing in under a week in order to have it ready for their campaign’s launch. Lincoln Financial shared it on their social media pages and it has over 100,000 views.

Before and after as we capture “Little Acts of Love” for Lincoln Financial.
We ended the month with an exciting new endeavor, creating social content for Degree as part of their NCAA tournament sponsorship.
We put together a 15-person crew that worked late into a Sunday night so our content would be ready for Selection Sunday. You can read more about the shoot and post production process here: https://www.aslproductions.com/post-production-summary-degree-final-four-videos/ and view the fruits of our labor at the top of this email.
Hoping to have some big announcements in the months ahead. I’ll give you a hint… expansion! Keep in touch, email us at contact@ASLProductions.com or follow us on facebook and twitter.

New York City has long been a hub for video production, with studios of all shapes and sizes scattered throughout the boroughs.
