New York Fashion Week Video Highlights

When New York Fashion Week shows up on your calendar, most people think about the clothes, the models, and the designers. Few think about all of the video production that is being produced to support and promote those staples of the fashion industry. That’s where ASL Productions comes in. For NYFW 2016, ASL partnered with Vocativ to produce a handful of pieces for the weeklong event.

ASL was very excited to be a part of NYFW and our footage speaks for itself. We shot a variety of pieces from profile pieces of designers, to Fashion Week collections, to a “how to” video on deciphering between real and fake luxury retail items. ASL covered NYFW across the board and we have great videos to show for it. You can read more about our fashion week experience in our newsletter from January here https://eepurl.com/bPMANL

That link takes you to a description of our shoot with Jay Godfrey, a veteran of NYFW and an emerging star in the world of fashion. We also interviewed Susan Scafidi, the director of Fordham University’s Fashion Law Institute. Scafidi used Louboutin heels and Chanel handbags as examples of how to spot a real product, from a fake.

After learning how to spot a forgery and profiling a veteran in the fashion world, we turned to our attention to newer designers on the scene. Cushnie Et Ochs is a young designer duo whose line celebrates the modern woman.

Our NYFW coverage ran the gamut of clothes, models, and designers, all filmed with the precision and quality that only ASL can provide.

Vocativ and New York Fashion Week allowed ASL to cover an industry that isn’t at the top of the list when you think of corporate video production. The versatility of ASL Productions to cover fashion, sports, finance, or any other industry is limitless. Our ability to meet the needs of our clients is unparalleled and our job, after all, is to satisfy our clients.
